Zane Robson, 22, has been identified by his family as the young man fatally stabbed on the NSW Central Coast. Emergency services found Robson on Mann Street in Gosford on Tuesday at approximately 7:30 p.m. He received medical attention at the scene before being transported to Gosford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Inquiries are ongoing as police seek to locate a teenager who was reportedly seen in the vicinity of the incident and may be able to assist with their investigation. Family members described the loss as devastating, noting in a GoFundMe message that no family is ever prepared for such a tragedy.
"On the evening of 28 July 2026, our family was devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of a much-loved son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend," a relative stated. "At just 22 years old, his life was taken far too soon in an alleged senseless act of knife violence in Gosford."
