Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) announced Tuesday it has found the body of Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian national wanted by authorities in Monaco in connection with a bombing that targeted Ukrainian business tycoon Vadym Yermolaiev.
The SBU stated that an officer from Ukraine’s military intelligence agency confessed to killing Berezovska, with the assistance of a former law enforcement officer. According to the SBU, the officer claimed he acted independently and did not inform his superiors.
The bombing in Monaco, a principality known for its wealthy residents and tax incentives, was described as an "odious act" by Prince Albert II, the head of state. Following the incident, all public services were mobilized to enhance security.
