A woman has come forward with allegations of sexual assault during a flydubai flight, claiming a passenger touched her inappropriately while she and her four-year-old daughter were asleep. Beaut Pimpaporn, 33, from Thailand, was on her way home from Milan, Italy, with a connecting flight in Dubai when the incident allegedly occurred.

Pimpaporn stated that she woke to find a passenger squeezing her backside and touching himself. She reported that the man quickly retracted his hand, covered it with his jacket, and then pretended to adjust the entertainment screen in front of her seat while repeatedly looking at her.

To avoid causing panic on the aircraft, Pimpaporn waited until the plane landed in Bangkok before alerting cabin crew and filing a police report. She recounted that the flight attendants questioned the man in Arabic, and although he initially denied the allegations, he eventually admitted to his actions. He then reportedly cried, knelt before her, and begged for forgiveness, promising not to repeat the behavior.

Flight attendants did not accept his apology, informing him that the matter was serious and required police involvement. Pimpaporn learned the man was traveling with a tour group, and several individuals from the group attempted to intervene and plead on his behalf. However, the flight attendant instructed those not directly involved to leave, emphasizing it was a police matter.

To ensure her daughter would not witness the situation, Pimpaporn said the flight attendant had the child moved away by the captain. Upon arrival in Bangkok, tourist police and immigration officers removed the man from the plane and took him to the police station.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Chamnanyut Konkong of the Don Mueang district station indicated that authorities would attempt to arrange mediation between the accuser and the accused. The suspect has reportedly been denied entry into Thailand, and Pimpaporn was scheduled for an interview. No charges have been filed as of the report.

Pimpaporn decided to share her experience to raise awareness for solo female travelers, highlighting the vulnerability passengers can face, especially when sleeping on long flights. "This happened even though I was traveling with my child. I cannot imagine what could happen to someone travelling alone who is too afraid to speak up," she said, urging other women not to feel embarrassed and to report any uncomfortable situations.

A spokesperson for flydubai stated that the airline does not disclose passenger information or details about ongoing investigations, reaffirming that the safety of passengers and crew is their top priority.
