Singer Ben Ofoedu, the former fiancé of television personality Vanessa Feltz, appeared in court on November 3, 2026, facing accusations of harassment. Ofoedu, 54, is alleged to have breached a non-molestation order within days of its imposition by reposting a YouTube video that identified the complainant.

The order was granted by a family court in May against the artist, formerly of the group Phats & Small. Ofoedu, who was engaged to Feltz for approximately 16 years before their separation, entered a not guilty plea at Croydon Magistrates Court.

During the brief hearing, Ofoedu confirmed his name, address, and date of birth. The court was informed that the YouTube video he shared directly identified the woman involved and was posted just 17 days after the order was issued. Ofoedu requested that his case be transferred to the Crown Court for trial, a request that Judge Nicola Fleck granted. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 1 in London. He was granted unconditional bail.

Following the hearing, Ofoedu expressed to the Daily Mail his hope for a swift resolution, describing the accusations as "trivial." He now resides in Carlisle and had previously appeared before magistrates regarding the same matter. Despite being investigated by police last June, Ofoedu married his girlfriend, Vanessa Brown, the following month.

Ofoedu and Feltz ended their relationship three years prior, after Ofoedu admitted to infidelity. He confessed to sleeping with one woman and sexting a fan while on tour with his band in Ibiza. He later told the Daily Mail that he and Feltz had not reconciled and that he no longer spoke to her, stating he felt her memoir about their breakup contained "terrible things" about him, written with "incredibly bad taste" and "no class at all."

Ofoedu has also been involved in legal proceedings as a complainant, reporting a woman for stalking in 2023. He alleged that she contacted him up to 100 times a day and took photographs outside his home.
