UK Ticket Holder Wins £111 Million EuroMillions Jackpot
A single UK ticket matched all numbers to claim the massive prize, marking the third UK jackpot winner this year.
A UK ticket holder has won Friday's £111 million EuroMillions jackpot, National Lottery operator Allwyn confirmed. The player matched all five main numbers—11, 12, 15, 38, 49—and the two Lucky Star numbers, 10 and 12, to secure the winning prize.
Andy Carter, Allwyn's senior winners' adviser, called the win "fantastic news for a UK EuroMillions player" who has now claimed a "life-changing" sum. This victory makes it the third time a UK-based ticket holder has won the EuroMillions jackpot in 2024. Previously, on March 10, a UK winner took home £181 million, the third-largest jackpot in UK National Lottery history. In April, another UK winner shared a £125 million prize with a participant from France.
"Be sure to check your tickets and get in touch if you think you might be tonight's lucky winner," Carter urged. The record for the largest EuroMillions prize won by a UK player remains £195 million, awarded to an anonymous winner in 2022. EuroMillions drawings occur twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, across nine European countries. Following this win, Tuesday's jackpot is now estimated at £14 million.
