Metropolitan Police arrested two men, aged 27 and 32, on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found inside a suitcase in woods. The arrests were made Friday after the men voluntarily attended Medway police station in Gillingham, Kent.

Officers were initially called to a property on Kingfisher Court in Wandsworth on Thursday at 22:55 BST following a report of a potential murder. Although no one was found at the residence, an investigation was launched after officers determined that a person had likely been harmed there. A subsequent search led officers to discover the body of a man in a wooded area of Borstal.

The police stated that the victim and the two arrested men were known to each other. Investigations are ongoing.
