Tourist Forced to Take Canyon Jump After Staffers Kick Her Legs

A tourist experienced a terrifying ordeal when canyon jump instructors allegedly kicked her legs out from under her to force her off a 260-foot ledge, according to video obtained by East 2 West. The woman can be heard crying and begging not to jump, saying, “Please don’t throw me like that! Let me go.”
The incident occurred at the Noh’o tourist attraction on the Sulak River in Dagestan. In the footage, the woman desperately tries to pull away from the edge of the platform, but the laughing instructors instruct her to "calm down" and stop "jerking around."
When she continued to resist, the staff members allegedly kicked her at the back of her knees, causing her legs to buckle and allowing them to push her off the ledge. Her husband was reportedly filming the entire incident and laughing, according to an onlooker.
After the jump, the woman, who survived the experience, was reportedly asked if she wanted to jump again. She can be heard telling her husband, "I said no! I'm scared."
An investigation into the actions of the instructors is reportedly underway. This incident echoes a fatal accident earlier in the year where a bungee jumper in Brazil fell to her death after being thrown from a cliff without a cord, leading to homicide charges against three instructors.
