Tourist Arrested in Thailand for Allegedly Stealing Bank Cards on Flights

A 51-year-old Chinese tourist was arrested at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport on October 12, accused of stealing bank cards from passengers on two domestic flights. Authorities allege the man rifled through the bags of sleeping passengers during the flights.

Following his arrest, police reportedly found that the suspect had used a portable card reader to make unauthorized transactions shortly after landing. Officials suspect the thefts may be part of a larger criminal network operating within the region.
