Three 17-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in Sydney's Macarthur region on August 15. Police will allege the trio followed the girl to a home and carried out an hours-long gang sexual assault.

It is understood that some of the accused boys attend St. Gregory's College, a private Catholic school in Gregory Hills near Campbelltown. The school's website states its motto is 'You will reap what you sow,' and tuition for Year 11 and 12 students exceeds $12,350 annually.

The arrests were made on Wednesday morning. One youth faces 11 charges, including six counts of aggravated sexual assault in the company of others and three counts of sexual intercourse without consent. A second youth is charged with eight offenses, including six counts of aggravated sexual assault in the company of others, common assault, and sexual intercourse without consent. The third boy faces two counts of aggravated sexual assault, offender in company with others.

According to reports, police will allege the boys were at a local football match and engaged in underage drinking at a pub with the girl before the alleged incident. When the girl reportedly felt unwell and decided to go home, two of the boys allegedly accompanied her, and a third joined them later. All are alleged to have been involved in the assault for varying durations.

A NSW Police spokesman confirmed that officers began an investigation on Sunday, August 16, 2026, after receiving a report of the assault. Search warrants were executed at several homes in the Macarthur Region, during which electronic devices and other items were seized for examination.

This incident follows a separate alleged sexual assault case just one week prior, involving three teenage boys from the elite Sydney private school Scots College. In that case, three boys aged 13 and 14 were charged in connection with the alleged assault of a 14-year-old girl in a Bondi Junction alleyway on July 22, following a period of drinking. The three youths in that incident remain on bail.

The three boys charged in connection with the St. Gregory's College case were refused bail and were scheduled to appear before the NSW Children’s Court. The Daily Mail has contacted St. Gregory's College for comment.
