Three people arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack that killed four family members in the Republic of Ireland have been released without charge, according to gardaí (Irish police). The deceased were identified as Philip and Kim English and their two children, nine-year-old Jayden and 12-year-old Callum.

Their home in Birch Avenue, on the outskirts of Waterford, was set on fire earlier this month. A man in his 20s, who was arrested on Thursday, remains in custody.

Previously, a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s had been charged in connection with the attack. On Saturday, gardaí stated that two women in their 30s and a man in his 50s, arrested on Tuesday, were released without charge.
