Teenager Arrested After Fatal School Attack in Poland

A 15-year-old former student was arrested Thursday after allegedly attacking three employees at a primary school in Leszczydół-Nowiny, Poland, authorities said, killing one. The attack occurred around 9 a.m. in the village, located approximately 30 miles northeast of Warsaw.

The suspect reportedly used a sharp object in the assault, targeting the school's principal, a custodian, and a teacher. The custodian, a 37-year-old woman, died as a result of her injuries. The teenager was subdued by the principal and subsequently taken into custody, according to the Polish news agency PAP.

The incident follows another violent event at a vocational school in northern Poland the previous day. In that attack, a 19-year-old student injured eight people with a sharp object before fleeing and being apprehended by police.
