A devastating plane crash in Florida on Sunday claimed the lives of nine people, including prominent tech entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp, their two young children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, and the aircraft's 20-year-old co-pilot.
Robinson was the founder and CEO of RB2B and Retention.com, and CEO of Moltsets, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had previously worked at financial services firms Lehman Brothers and Barclays.
Friends and family remembered Robinson and Sharp as devoted parents and a loving couple. A joint statement from some of the families described them as "the love affair that will last forever" and noted their "warmth, generosity and gift for making people feel welcome touched so many lives."
Jesse Ouellette, a fellow tech entrepreneur, shared on LinkedIn how Robinson had been a supportive figure during his company's early stages. "He became a friend and someone I saw eye to eye with on how to build software companies," Ouellette wrote, adding that Robinson had a unique ability to foster positive relationships even during disagreements.
Co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras, 20, was also among the nine individuals who perished in the crash. The circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation.
