At least six people died and several others were injured in an apartment fire in Antwerp, Belgium. The blaze, which broke out just before 10:00 local time on Wednesday, occurred in a 10-story building.
Footage from the scene shows smoke billowing from the building as one man climbs from a balcony to safety, seemingly assisted into a neighboring window. Belgian police stated that the fire is believed to have been caused by a technical problem on the ground floor.
The building houses over 200 residents, and fire department officials evacuated 80 flats. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
