Singapore Airlines Introduces Over 100 New Dishes in In-Flight Dining Revamp

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has launched a significant overhaul of its in-flight dining experience, introducing more than 100 new and refreshed dishes across all cabin classes. This culinary enhancement also includes expanded beverage selections with new wine and spirits options.

The initiative is part of a broader investment in the passenger travel experience. The updates come shortly after SIA was named the World's Best Airline, an accolade attributed to its dedication to customer service.

Menu Enhancements

The enhanced dining experience features new appetizers, main courses, and desserts under the "SIA Chefs' Selection" banner. Highlights from the updated menu include a "Fusion Harmony Rojak," a popular Singaporean salad, and poached Maine lobster with champagne sauce for select classes. Economy class passengers can expect options such as Cheng Tng jelly, tandoor roasted paneer with velvet gravy, and roasted chicken breast with black pepper sauce.

The new menu was developed by the airline's in-house and guest chefs in collaboration with its catering partners. In suites, first class, and business class, meals will be served on custom-designed serviceware created in partnership with the French luxury tableware maison, Christofle.

Rollout and Vision

Singapore Airlines has begun the progressive rollout of the new dishes, with the full dining enhancements, including new beverages and serviceware, set to be introduced starting November 2026.

Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, senior vice president of customer experience, stated that in-flight dining at Singapore Airlines is considered "about much more than the meal itself." He explained that the review of every aspect of the dining experience, from menu design and ingredients to beverage selection and presentation, was guided by customer feedback, evolving preferences, and emerging dining trends. The airline aims to make dining on board more memorable for its customers through thoughtfully crafted dishes, curated beverages, elegant serviceware, and attentive service.
