Shaun Wallace, known as 'The Dark Destroyer' on the ITV quiz show The Chase, had his luggage stolen by thieves at London's St Pancras International station last month. The incident occurred as Wallace was preparing to load his belongings into a taxi after returning from Paris, where he had been filming an advertisement.
According to reports, Wallace placed three pieces of luggage in the back of the taxi. A man then approached him, distracting him with a claim that he had dropped a card. While Wallace was retrieving the supposed dropped card, another individual stole his bag from inside the vehicle. The stolen luggage contained personal items including Wallace's preferred blue suede shoes, Gucci perfume, and car keys.
Wallace, 66, shared his experience on a New Zealand radio show, stating that crime in London is "out of control." He believes the thieves did not recognize him personally during the theft.
