Russian Attacks Injure 16 in Ukraine's Capital

At least 16 people, including two children, were injured during a Russian barrage of missiles and drones that targeted Ukraine's capital overnight and into Thursday morning, local authorities reported.

Explosions were recorded at more than 10 locations across Kyiv, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration. The attacks damaged a warehouse, an office building, residential buildings, and cars in the Dniprovsky district. Further damage to warehouses and vehicles was reported in the Solomyansky and Darnitsky districts. In the Podilsky district, the roof of a non-residential building sustained damage.

Ukraine's Air Force stated that it successfully destroyed or suppressed 131 Russian aerial targets during the overnight attack. The primary regions targeted included Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa. The overall assault involved ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and 157 drones and decoys, with debris from intercepted targets falling on five locations.
