Comedian and actor Russell Brand has been convicted of raping one woman and sexually assaulting three others. The verdicts were delivered at Southwark Crown Court in London.

Brand, who was not present for the verdict, appeared in court throughout the trial. Descriptions of the proceedings noted a significant change in his demeanor. Jan Moir of the Daily Mail observed that Brand "seemed to age 1,000 years in three weeks," appearing “hollowed out” with his "wattage dimmed" and his "dandy highwayman swagger just a memory" by the trial's conclusion. He was reportedly seen with his bible during police interviews in July 2025.

The trial, which lasted three weeks, heard evidence from four women. Prosecutors described Brand as a "sexually voracious monster" who was allegedly bent on achieving his "goal" of bedding 5,000 women. The prosecution, led by Riel Karmy-Jones KC, presented a case that involved a sober examination of the allegations.
