Newly released police footage shows Russell Brand appearing emotionless and saying "I have nothing further to add at this time" when confronted with graphic details of a woman’s rape allegations during a July 2025 interview. The Metropolitan Police investigator detailed how the woman claimed Brand removed his condom before the sexual assault, stating, “The condom that he had been wearing had been removed at some point before the anal rape and was now on the floor.”

The investigator further recounted that Brand then told the woman to clean up the mess on the bed and left the room. According to the account, another man then entered and instructed her to leave because Brand had another show to perform that evening. The woman claimed she was then driven to Hampstead tube station by the same driver who had brought her to Brand’s home.

The footage was among a collection of photos and documents released by London’s Metropolitan Police following Brand’s conviction on Thursday. The files also included old photos of a young Brand and a hand-drawn map of MTV and Viacom offices, marking the locations of bathrooms, elevators, and entrances.

Brand was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault following a four-week trial at Southwark Crown Court. He had denied the allegations, maintaining that his sexual encounters were consensual. The judge, Justice Joel Bennathan, told Brand he will receive a “significant” prison sentence. Brand was acquitted of two additional rape charges and one charge of attempted indecent assault.

The disgraced British comedian was taken into custody following the verdict and is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, November 9. He is also being investigated by the Metropolitan Police for multiple other allegations of rape, including one from a woman Brand dated when she was 16 and he was 30.
