Police are escalating their search efforts for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for over a week. Millie, from Palmview on Australia's Sunshine Coast, was last seen on July 23 at approximately 4:40 p.m. at Coomera train station. She was reported missing after leaving her home on July 19 and has not been heard from since.

The teenager is described as Caucasian, approximately 170 cm tall, with a slim build and long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing Adidas sneakers, a blue and navy long-sleeve top, and carrying a black and navy backpack.

Investigators believe Millie may have traveled to the intersection of Swan Road and Yawalpah Road in Pimpama shortly before 5 p.m. on the day she was last seen. Authorities suspect she may be in either the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast areas. Due to her age, officers and her family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Millie left her home in Palmview on the Sunshine Coast on July 19.

Friends and family have taken to social media to share Millie's photograph and express their pleas for her safe return. "Millie, you're so loved, darling girl. Please find your way home. Praying for her safe return," one friend wrote. Others have offered support to Millie's mother, Tara, and urged the public to share information.

Police are asking anyone with information about Millie's whereabouts to contact Policelink on 131 444 or, in case of immediate danger, to call 000.
