India's railway system, one of the world's largest, frequently experiences safety concerns. These issues are often linked to aging infrastructure, including outdated tracks and signaling systems. The high volume of passengers and frequent overcrowding also place additional strain on the network, contributing to safety risks. Human error, such as mistakes in signal interpretation or fatigue, also plays a role in many train-related incidents.
