An alleged sexual assault was thwarted in Melbourne when a pack of dogs intervened, driving the suspect away.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday as two women were walking their dogs along Gardiners Creek in Melbourne's southeast. According to reports, a man emerged from bushes and grabbed one of the women. She managed to break free, and the man then targeted the second woman, who also resisted.
At that point, the women's dogs reportedly turned on the man, prompting him to flee. He escaped into a tunnel beneath the Monash Freeway.
The encounter was captured on camera.
