The nanny traveling on a Learjet that crashed near West Palm Beach, Florida, made a final video call to her sister shortly before the plane went down, family members revealed. Anita Maria Cetina, 24, was traveling with the Robinson family, who had chartered the jet for a flight from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas.

Cetina's sister, Angie Ramirez Cetina, told The US Sun that they spoke via video call moments before takeoff. "We did a video call, she showed me the children, she showed me the plane. She was very happy," Angie said. "She was truly happy because she had never been to the Bahamas, and even though she was working, she didn’t see it as work. She enjoyed it. She loved the job she had. She loved the children very much. She loved the Robinson family dearly."

Cetina died along with pilot Jeffrey Gregory, 55, co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, Adam and Helen Robinson, their children Emma, four, and Charlie, two, and friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr. All nine people on board perished in the crash.

New 911 calls from witnesses on the ground described the terrifying event. One caller told emergency services they heard a "really big explosion" and saw sparks and smoke. Another described seeing an airplane or rocket fall from the sky, with their house shaking from the impact.

Audio from air traffic control captured the final moments of the flight. Filgueiras can be heard relaying that the plane was descending rapidly, declaring an emergency due to an overspeed condition, and then shouting, "descending 20,000ft per minute... we're going to crash into the ground." The pilot reported the jet was descending 22,000ft and banking 60 degrees before the co-pilot exclaimed, "We're out of time."

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, which left a massive crater and scattered wreckage at the impact site.
