A 32-year-old mother, identified as Dijana L., has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of her three-month-old son, Adrian. Dijana L. had reported the infant missing on June 18, claiming he was abducted from his stroller while she was unpacking groceries.

Emergency responders discovered the child's body the following day, June 19, in the Rankbach stream, approximately 500 meters from her residence in Renningen, Germany. Police investigations were unable to find evidence to support Dijana L.'s initial claim of a kidnapping.

According to reports, Dijana L. took her son to the Rewe supermarket, located about 800 meters from their home. Upon returning, she left the baby in his stroller on the sidewalk outside her building while she carried shopping bags inside. She later reported that the child had disappeared.

A large-scale search operation was launched immediately after the missing person report, involving drones, helicopters, firefighters, and numerous rescue dogs. The search concluded with the discovery of the deceased infant.

Sources indicate that Dijana L. reportedly learned of her pregnancy late, in her fifth month, and her son Adrian was born prematurely. Neighbors described the living situation as chaotic, with frequent arguments heard from the couple's cramped apartment. Colleagues told Bild that Dijana L. was seeking to move to a better apartment with her new boyfriend to escape their difficult living conditions.
