Missile Strikes Hit Riyadh Airport, Houthi Group Claims Responsibility
Two strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia's capital left 14 dead and over 300 injured, with the Houthi group in Yemen claiming responsibility.

Two missile strikes on the international airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital, resulted in 14 deaths and more than 300 injuries. The attacks occurred on Saturday, with CCTV footage from inside King Khalid International Airport showing people seeking cover as one of the missiles hit the building.
The Houthi group, based in Yemen, claimed responsibility for the strikes. A spokesperson for the group, Brig Gen Yahya Saree, stated that they targeted the airport using a combination of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. The group also issued a warning to airlines and passengers, advising against the use of Saudi Arabian airports and airspace.
In addition to the Riyadh airport, the Houthis also claimed responsibility for attacks on oil facilities and Dammam airport in eastern Saudi Arabia. Saree vowed to continue "escalating operations deep inside Saudi Arabia," specifying that all Saudi airports, with the exception of those in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, were potential targets.
