Police in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, are searching for an individual known as "Batman" who is accused of apprehending suspected motorbike thieves and tying them to lampposts. The incidents reportedly began on June 13 and occurred over a span of 10 days.

At least five men were discovered duct-taped to street poles. Images circulating on social media, shared by Mexican journalist Luis Cárdenas, show some of the men with mustaches, drawn-on cat whiskers, and the word "thief" scrawled on their faces. In some instances, the allegedly stolen motorbikes were left near the bound individuals. One photograph depicted two men taped back-to-back to a pole with a pink sign above them and a motorcycle positioned in front.

State Security Secretary Juan Pablo Hernández stated that authorities are treating the tied-up men as victims and are actively seeking the vigilante. The individuals were freed and received treatment for their injuries. It remains unclear if they are facing investigation for alleged theft. Police have identified two vehicles that may be connected to the incidents, but no arrests have been made.
