A Mercedes collided with a police vehicle on Boston Manor Road in Brentford on Friday, leaving the Mercedes perched on top of the police car, but the drivers and passengers were not reported to have life‑threatening or life‑changing injuries.

The collision occurred at about 12:05 p.m. and prompted an immediate multi‑agency response. London Ambulance Service (LAS) said it was called at 12:07 p.m. and that its first paramedic reached the scene in four minutes. The fleet sent ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, a clinical team manager and members of its hazardous area response team (HART).

LAS said crews treated four adults and one child. Three patients were taken to hospital and one person was discharged at the scene. The Met Police confirmed the London Fire Brigade and LAS assisted at the scene and said no arrests had been made.

Footage and photos from the scene show both cars with extensive damage and debris across the road; the rear wheels of the Mercedes appeared to be resting on the windscreen area of the police car. Dozens of emergency workers were on Boston Manor Road while crews worked to make the area safe and the road remained closed during the response.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers were called at 12:05 a.m. to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a police car at the junction of Boston Manor Road and Windmill Road. The force said the drivers and passengers of both vehicles were deemed not to have life‑threatening or life‑changing injuries. The Met asked anyone with information to contact 101, quoting CAD 2914/12SEP.

The London Fire Brigade attended to assist with safety and scene management. Emergency services routinely dispatch HART crews to incidents where access or hazards are heightened; LAS noted HART paramedics were among those who responded. Local roads were disrupted during the incident and recovery of the vehicles.

Police and emergency services continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved.
