A man has been sentenced to six months in prison after being discovered by a police dog hiding behind a fake wall at a cannabis farm. Albert Hysaj, 42, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis at Cardiff Crown Court.
Officers from Gwent Police found Hysaj in a commercial property on the Bowen Industrial Estate in Aberbargoed, Caerphilly county, in May. The police dog, named Asko, located him behind a concealed wall. Inside the premises, police discovered 313 cannabis plants spread across two linked units and three rooms, which included a living area equipped with a kitchen and bathroom.
