A 34-year-old man, Pawel Kulpa, has been charged with one count of murder, eight counts of attempted murder, and one count of arson with intent to endanger life. The charges stem from a fire that occurred at a residential address on Berkeley Avenue in Hounslow, west London, early Wednesday morning.

The fire, which was reported around 1:15 AM BST on August 19, led to a 48-year-old woman being pronounced dead in the hospital. Another woman, aged 40, remains in the hospital in a life-threatening condition.
