Man, 25, Fatally Stabbed Outside Birmingham Pub
Police are investigating a murder after a young man died from stab wounds in the car park of the Beggars Bush pub in Sutton Coldfield.
A man in his 20s was fatally stabbed outside a pub in Birmingham early Sunday morning, prompting a murder investigation by West Midlands Police.
Officers responded to an incident in the car park of the Beggars Bush pub on Chester Road in Sutton Coldfield shortly before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from severe stab wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim is believed to be 25 years old.
Forensic officers were observed examining the scene, with a forensic tent erected over the area where the incident occurred. Investigators are collecting evidence and reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the perpetrator.
Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Follows, from the West Midlands Police Major Crime Unit, appealed for witnesses to come forward. "Our investigation is at an early stage, and our thoughts are with the man's family and friends today," Follows stated. "We will continue to support them as our investigation progresses, and I'd urge anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam or CCTV to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
