A 48-year-old man has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with a fatal stabbing on Askew Road in London.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing around 8:19 a.m. on Tuesday, where they discovered two women with stab wounds. Samantha Turner, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
A second woman, aged 32, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She remains under assessment.
Alan Dore, 48, was arrested at the location. He has been formally charged with murder and attempted murder. Dore, who resides in Shepherd's Bush, is scheduled to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, August 20.
