A leopard attacked a store worker in Todaraisingh, India, on Monday after barging into a liquor store. The five-year-old male leopard first attacked Fateh Lal Koli, 40, before entering the store and pouncing on employee Sanjay Gurjar, 25.
Video footage captured the leopard leaping into a stocking area of the store and attacking Gurjar. The animal swiped its claws and grabbed Gurjar's shoulders. Screams could be heard from onlookers as the pair tussled. Gurjar managed to push the leopard away and escape the store, pulling down a shutter to trap the animal inside.
The leopard also attacked a volunteer forest worker earlier that morning before entering the town. Wildlife specialists tracked the leopard and tranquilized it around 2 p.m. Gurjar sustained injuries to his hand, shoulder, and nose. The extent of the injuries to the other two men was not immediately clear.
