A private Learjet 60 carrying nine people crashed and exploded on impact near a busy road in West Palm Beach, Florida, on November 1. The aircraft had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was en route to the Bahamas.
Dashcam footage captured the plane nosediving onto Military Trail between 10th Avenue North and Cresthaven Boulevard as traffic passed by. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and shut down the roadway. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation into the crash.
