Justin Bieber is set to co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19, joining previously announced performers Shakira and BTS. The event will take place at MetLife Stadium.

Bieber's participation marks his return to a major global sporting event following a previous appearance at a U.S. men's national team match against Paraguay. The pop star has recently performed at Coachella and the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The 11-minute halftime show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will also feature Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus. Burna Boy previously collaborated with Shakira on the official World Cup song, “Dai Dai.” Shakira

The halftime show is part of FIFA's Global Citizen Education Fund initiative, aiming to raise $100 million to improve children's access to education and soccer. "The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can," Bieber said in a statement. "I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world."

MetLife Stadium will host the final match between two of the eight remaining teams in the tournament: Argentina, France, England, Spain, Morocco, Belgium, Norway, and Switzerland. The quarterfinals are scheduled to begin with France facing Morocco. BTS
