Girl, 8, Critically Injured After Wolf Attack at German Wildlife Park

An 8-year-old girl is in critical condition after being mauled by a wolf at a wildlife park in Germany on Wednesday morning. Emergency services responded to the Johannismühle Wildlife Park in Baruth, Brandenburg, approximately 28 miles south of Berlin, following emergency calls.

Paramedics treated the child on-site for severe head injuries before she was airlifted to a specialist trauma clinic in Marzahn. Police reported that the girl had entered the enclosure accompanied by two other children and a park employee when she was attacked by at least one wolf.
