Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the 1994 murder of Doreen Morris, who was fatally stabbed at her home on Anglesey. North Wales Police announced the arrests of one man and three women, all from North Wales, on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Moses Morris, 64, was killed with a fork after she reportedly disturbed a burglary at her property, Penrhyn Uchaf. An inquest in 2023 confirmed the cause of death. Joseph Carl Westbury, who had previously been found not guilty of her murder in 1995, died by suicide in May 2016.

According to senior review officer Mark Pierce, recent advancements in forensic science, combined with a comprehensive review of witness testimonies, have provided grounds to interview the four individuals. The Morris family has been informed of these developments. Police are continuing to appeal for any further information regarding the case.
