Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been found guilty of sexually abusing two children, a court in Glasgow heard on Monday.

Dott, 49, was convicted of two counts of lewd, indecent, and libidinous behavior involving a girl and a boy, both of primary school age. The abuse against the girl reportedly occurred between 1993 and 1996, while the abuse against the boy took place between 2006 and 2010. Both incidents are said to have occurred in the Glasgow region.

Dott denied the charges. The trial, which lasted five days, heard that Dott exposed himself to the children, touched them inappropriately, and kissed them.

Dott won the World Championship title in 2006.
