Former Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico and his wife, influencer Alba Silva, were tied up by armed robbers during a home invasion near Seville, Spain, on Sunday night. The incident occurred while the couple's two young children and Rico's mother-in-law were present in the house, according to Spanish broadcaster Telecinco.

The masked intruders reportedly stormed the residence while the family was having dinner. The thieves, described by locals as non-Spaniards of "Arabic origin or Albanian," tied up Rico and Silva and held the mother-in-law at gunpoint. They stole valuables including cash, jewelry, and designer handbags, though the total value has not been publicly disclosed. Police are investigating the robbery but have made no arrests.

Alba Silva shared on Instagram that she remained in shock following the break-in. "I'm still in shock after what happened; I am without words. But the only really important thing is that thanks to God our family is safe. Thank you to everyone for your concern," she stated to her 255,000 followers.

Sergio Rico, who played for Fulham on loan from Sevilla during the 2018-19 season before joining Paris Saint-Germain, has not yet commented publicly on the incident. Their children are two-year-old Carla and three-month-old Sergio Jr. A female maid was also in the house at the time of the raid.

This incident follows a similar robbery last week involving former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi and his wife, Diana Vigh. Four masked men reportedly forced entry into the couple's home in Puzol, near Valencia, while they slept. The robbers, who fled in two vehicles, made off with valuables estimated to be worth around £170,000, including jewelry, designer bags, and cash. The couple reportedly complied with demands to protect their two sleeping children. Gulacsi described the event as "deeply traumatic" but expressed gratitude that his family was safe.
