Firefighters worked through the night to contain a blaze at an industrial estate in Aberdeenshire. The fire, located in Tipperty near Ellon, was reported around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

At its peak, the response involved nine fire engines and multiple specialist units. Residents in the vicinity were advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke, and motorists on the nearby A90 were cautioned about visibility issues as smoke drifted across the roadway.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident. As the operation progressed, the scale of the response was reduced overnight as crews gained control of the fire.

By Wednesday morning, one fire engine remained at the scene to address any lingering hotspots and monitor the area. The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.

Connon Brothers Coal and Kiln Dried Logs, one of the companies with operations at the site, stated that its fuel stock, vehicles, and most of its equipment were unaffected by the fire.
