Noel Radford, known as the father of Britain's largest family, will not inherit a share of his adoptive mother Val's £600,000 fortune after his stepfather, Clive, left nearly all the money to their weekly cleaner.
Radford, 55, who stars with his wife Sue, 51, and their 22 children in the Channel 5 documentary series "22 Kids and Counting," stated that his mother's wish was for half of her estate to be shared between him and his brother. However, he discovered after his stepfather's death in 2024 that the cleaner received 99% of the inheritance, with the remainder going to Clive's family and charity.
"This has never been about the money," Radford told The Sun, "but I was baffled after I was told by lawyers that I won't receive any of my adoptive mother Val's inheritance."
The Radford family rose to prominence in 2012 with the Channel 4 show "15 Kids and Counting," which documented the lives of several large British families. The program later focused exclusively on the Radfords as they welcomed more children, eventually leading to "22 Kids and Counting" on Channel 5 in January 2023. The couple's children range in age from five to 36. Their 17th child, Alfie, was stillborn in July 2014.
In recent months, the Radford family has shared updates on their travels, including a motorhome holiday in Spain and a trip to Florida for their youngest daughter Heidi's sixth birthday. Earlier this year, the family also took a weekend trip within the UK. Sue Radford has previously urged fans to respect their privacy and refrain from visiting their home, citing safety concerns and a desire for the children to feel secure in their private space.
