A family of three has died after falling from the 213-foot Harz Tower in Altenau, Germany. Local reports indicate that two parents and their child were found deceased at the base of the popular tourist attraction on Thursday.

Emergency services were alerted around 4:40 p.m. local time but were unable to save the individuals. Police are investigating the incident and suspect a possible suicide pact.
