More than 50 coordinated arson and incendiary attacks, described by the military as "aimed at creating unrest," occurred across Thailand's southern border provinces between Saturday evening and midnight. The incidents, primarily concentrated in Narathiwat province with others reported in neighboring Yala and Pattani, resulted in two injuries.

Targets included a local government office building, a convenience store, and several telecommunication towers which were set ablaze. A stolen vehicle was also among the properties destroyed. Two women sustained injuries when a bomb detonated in Muang district, Narathiwat province, according to the Bangkok Post. Authorities cautioned residents against touching any suspicious objects.

A curfew was imposed in Narathiwat province overnight but was lifted on Sunday morning, with no further attacks reported. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the series of incidents.
