Damian Kasprzyk, a daredevil from Poland, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest duration spent in direct full body contact with snow. He achieved this feat by remaining buried in snow for 2 hours, 12 minutes, and 12 seconds.

This was Kasprzyk's first attempt at a snow-related record, though he already holds a record for longest full body contact with ice, which he held for over 5 hours. The 41-year-old father of two described his performance as good for a first attempt but expressed a desire to improve his time in the future.

The record was set on February 21 in Szlachtowa, Poland, with a medical team present for safety. Kasprzyk stated that while the cold does not intimidate him, he approaches such extreme challenges with humility and prioritizes safety, ensuring medical professionals monitor him throughout.

Kasprzyk, who ironically works for Thermo King, a manufacturer of temperature-controlled transport systems, finds a sense of peace and uses these challenges to test his endurance limits. He stated his motivations stem from curiosity and a desire to push human capabilities, rather than solely for record-holding.

Guinness World Records shared a video of the accomplishment, which garnered numerous awe-struck reactions from online viewers. The extreme nature of the record prompted comments questioning his body's response to hypothermia and expressing disbelief at his ability to withstand the cold for such extended periods.
