The body of Alexander Harris, a 30-year-old British and Irish citizen, has been discovered in northern Pakistan after he went missing on Saturday. Harris disappeared while descending Musa Ka Musala, a mountain exceeding 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Local officials suspect Harris slipped and fell. He was last seen descending the mountain with a companion. According to Khalid Iqbal, the area's deputy commissioner, the two trekkers became separated due to a difference in speed, with Harris moving ahead. Rain began during their descent.

Harris, who resided in Islamabad and worked for the global advisory firm Adam Smith International, was an experienced hiker and trail runner, known for participating in long-distance races in Pakistan. Despite being offered a guide and police security for his trek, he declined, stating he was familiar with the area.

A large-scale search operation was launched, involving an estimated 250 to 300 individuals, including police and volunteers. Search efforts included both ground teams and drones, though visibility was hampered by poor weather conditions. Harris's body was found on a forest path.
