Colin Alexander Ross, 56, from Elgin, Scotland, disappeared on Friday, August 14, shortly after arriving in Rome with his fiancée, Annabella Mcallister, for what was planned as a dream vacation.

The couple were exploring the Pantheon Roman temple in Piazza della Rotonda around 10 p.m. when Mr. Ross went missing. Ms. Mcallister reported that he had stepped away on a side street while she was attempting to take a photograph.

According to Ms. Mcallister, Mr. Ross was not carrying a wallet or phone and was in an "unsteady state due to medication and heat." He was last seen wearing a red Adidas T-shirt, black shorts, and black earrings, with a black watch and bracelet on his left wrist. He is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 70 kilograms.

Ms. Mcallister posted a plea on Facebook, detailing the circumstances of his disappearance and asking for public assistance in Rome. She noted that he might have forgotten the name of their hotel, the Marcella Royal Hotel, located about 3.6 kilometers from the Pantheon.

Italian police are reportedly searching for Mr. Ross, but no sightings have been confirmed. The Foreign Office has stated that it is supporting the family of the British man and is in contact with local authorities.
