A coroner will investigate the death of Fletcher Beasley, a 21-year-old law student from Brisbane, Australia, who died after falling from the Victoria Embankment in central London. Beasley's father is traveling to the United Kingdom to seek answers regarding the circumstances of his son's death.

The incident occurred in the early hours of June 25, when Beasley was reportedly with his girlfriend and friends along the popular riverside promenade. London Ambulance Service confirmed a man in his 20s died at the scene after falling from a height.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Beasley was a fourth-year Business and Law student at the Queensland University of Technology and worked as a research assistant at the law firm West Garbutt.

In a statement, Fletcher's parents, Katrina and Matt Beasley, described their son as a kind, generous, and warm-hearted young man who lived a balanced life, enjoying sports, running, travel, and spending time with loved ones. They noted his deep generosity and community-mindedness.
