Brawling Passengers Erupt in Mid-Air Fight on Flight to London

Two passengers engaged in a physical altercation on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight bound for London from Sylhet, Bangladesh, on Thursday. The fight escalated to the point where one man's T-shirt was torn as they grappled and struck each other over seats.

Cabin crew intervened and successfully brought the disturbance under control. Video footage of the incident circulated on social media.

According to a Biman Bangladesh Airlines public relations representative, the flight departed Sylhet as scheduled. The representative confirmed that two passengers became involved in a physical altercation during the flight and that the cabin crew resolved the situation. The cause of the initial argument has not been disclosed, and it is unknown if any passengers faced action upon landing.

This incident follows a similar event in July when an easyJet flight bound for Liverpool had to return to Tenerife after a large mid-air row involving two British families. Spanish air traffic controllers reported that approximately ten passengers were involved in the fight, which began about 30 minutes after takeoff. The flight captain decided to turn back due to the potential danger to flight safety. Police met the plane upon arrival, but no arrests were made. The individuals removed from the plane were identified as British nationals, and the issue reportedly stemmed from a pre-existing dispute between the families that began at the airport terminal.
