Brawl Erupts on Flight From Bangladesh to London

Two passengers were involved in a physical altercation aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight traveling from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London on Thursday. The fight, which saw the men grapple and strike each other over seats, was eventually brought under control by cabin crew.

Video footage circulating on social media shows several individuals attempting to separate the passengers. In the footage, one man's T-shirt appears to have been ripped during the brawl. The disturbance reportedly caused alarm among other passengers, including children and the elderly.

Mohiuddin Ahmed, general manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines' public relations department, confirmed the incident. He stated that the flight departed Sylhet for London as scheduled and that the cabin crew successfully resolved the situation between the two passengers.

The cause of the initial argument has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear if either passenger faced any action upon the aircraft's arrival in London. This incident follows a separate mid-air altercation in July on an easyJet flight bound for Britain. That flight, en route to Liverpool from Tenerife, had to be diverted back to Tenerife after a significant row involving approximately ten passengers, reportedly stemming from a dispute that began at the airport terminal before boarding.
