Marine experts have embarked on an extensive operation to relocate nearly three dozen beluga whales from a defunct marine park in Canada. The undertaking, which began on July 22, 2026, is expected to span several weeks. The whales are being moved from a Canadian marine park that has been shuttered.
This large-scale rescue effort involves significant logistical challenges to ensure the well-being of the marine mammals throughout the relocation process.
