A 49-year-old visitor suffered fractures in both legs following an incident on the Batman Gotham City Escape roller coaster at Parque Warner Madrid, according to local reports. The rider was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred Saturday on the newly opened Batman-themed attraction, which park officials said was immediately stopped as emergency procedures were activated. The park stated that the affected person was attended to by emergency medical services on-site.

Parque Warner Madrid reported that the roller coaster, which opened in 2023, features three launches and four inversions. The ride will remain closed while management reviews the incident in coordination with authorities.

Witnesses described panic among some parkgoers following the incident. "There were people crying and having anxiety attacks," said Juan José Molina, another visitor.
