Finns Beach Club, a popular venue in Canggu, Bali, has drawn criticism from tourists and potential visitors following the circulation of a video depicting a pool party with visibly murky water.
The footage, shared by travel content creator Kris Diandro, shows numerous people, predominantly shirtless men, packed into the pool.
The condition of the water in the video has led to negative reactions online, with some social media users expressing disgust and concern. Comments ranged from declarations of canceled travel plans to jokes about the water's appearance.
Finns Beach Club, which opened in 2011, is described on its website as "the best beach club among the best beach clubs in Bali." The establishment is known for its pool parties, sunset views, restaurants, and dance floors.
The club's ownership includes former Sydney Swans player Tony Smith. According to the club, it attracts a significant portion of international visitors to Bali, stating that "twenty-five per cent of all the international arrivals to Bali visit Finns Beach Club."
